Valdichiana Eating: discover the region through its flavours
The Valdichiana Senese is a place to experience through its food and wine: local wines, extra virgin olive oil, cheeses, meats, cured meats and many other specialities that reflect the identity of the area and the work of its producers.
Valdichiana Eating was created to celebrate this heritage and bring visitors closer to the people, places and traditions behind the region’s food culture.
Wineries, olive mills, farms, livestock breeders and dairies become part of a journey through the Valdichiana Senese, offering the chance to discover local products where they are made and meet the people who bring them to life.
Each year, Valdichiana Eating also hosts a travelling food event in a different town of the Valdichiana Senese, bringing together local producers for a market, tastings, cooking shows and activities dedicated to the flavours of the area.
At the Valdichiana Eating Bottega in Montepulciano, located in Palazzo del Capitano, Piazza Grande 7, cooking classes, tastings and private events can also be organised upon request.
