Owned first by an ancient local family (Mazzucchelli Svetoni), then, currently, by Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari (whose family has been producing wine since the eighteenth century), the Estate “TorCalvano” covers a total surface area of 30 hectares, 22 of which cultivated with vineyards, in the territory of Gracciano. The property extends around the estate’s headquarters, which consists of a villa with two towers, in the basement of which the wines are stored in a typical vaulted cellar, in oak barrels (a part of the vineyards is also located in the nearby area of Cervognano). Among the products of the estate, worth noting is, above all, an excellent Grappa.
