La Strada joins the organization of “Fonti di Vino” in San Casciano dei Bagni
A new highlight is coming to Valdichiana Senese: “Fonti di Vino: Wine & Thermal Waters in San Casciano dei Bagni” will take place on Saturday, March 28, at the Casina delle Rose inside Fonteverde Resort & Spa.
Fonti di Vino offers a full day dedicated to discovering the producers and wines of San Casciano dei Bagni, with two different experiences:
- Free tastings from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM;
- Masterclasses by reservation only (via the link), at 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 5:30 PM.
La Strada collaborates in the realization of the event, organized by the Municipality of San Casciano dei Bagni together with the local wineries: Azienda Agricola Franchetti Carlo, Azienda Agricola Il Poggio, Azienda Agricola Gianni Barzi, Cantina Giacomo Mori, Cantine Ravazzi, Giacomo Baraldo Vigneron, Le Forconate, Podernuovo a Palazzone, and Sassopra.
Alongside the wine, there will also be space for local flavors, including traditional products from Azienda Agricola Il Poggio and dishes made with the traditional cassetta di cottura, offered by Filo & Fibra and the Slow Food Community of the Cassetta di Cottura of San Casciano dei Bagni. In addition, throughout the entire weekend, visitors will be able to taste the featured wines at participating local restaurants: Domus Etrusca, Il Falconiere, Il Poggio, La Fontanella, Metodo Classico, Ristorante Daniela, and Trattoria La Pace.
The event is also part of the wider tourism offer of San Casciano dei Bagni: thermal wellness experiences at Fonteverde Resort & Spa and winery visits in the area will be available by reservation during the weekend of Fonti di Vino. Additional experiences include guided tours of the archaeological site “Il Santuario Ritrovato” and horseback rides with Azienda Agricola Il Poggio.
