TOUR OF THE CELLARS IN THE HISTORICAL CENTRE
The thick underground network of cellars dug in the rock, where still today are stored the precious oak barrels with Vino Nobile, are the visible signs of the deep ties, that for centuries have existed between the city of Montepulciano and its wine.
The tour includes a guided visit to the cellars with a final wine tasting of Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG.

VINSANTO TOUR
A unique opportunity to see a “vinsantaia”, the place where the precious Vinsanto di Montepulciano Doc is aged in small oak barrels called “caratelli”, for at least 3 years, or for 5 years for a reserve Vinsanto and for the rare variety of Vinsanto called “Occhio di pernice” (made with Prugnolo gentile grapes) aged 8 years. The tour includes a visit of a vineyard and a vinsantaia together with a tasting. Taxi transfer is included.

VINO NOBILE EDUCATIONAL TOUR: Sangiovese and the other grapes
Do you know what wine we are talking about? Vino Nobile di Montepulciano: its origins, grapes, soil.
A walk among the vineyards to know Sangiovese and the other local grapes (from June to October), distinguish the bunches and understand the difference. Prugnolo gentile (Sangiovese), Canaiolo nero, Mammolo and Colorino: the body, elegance, aroma and colour of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
From the soil to the glass, lots advice for learning and knowing our DOCG, guided by an expert.
