Cortona: Visit to the museum of the Etruscan Academy.
Chiusi: Visit to the National Archaeological Etruscan Museum of Chiusi, the Pilgrim Tomb, Lion Tomb, Monkey Tomb and the Etruscan Labyrinth of Porsenna.

TRUFFELS
Duration: lasts half a day
By horse among the Crete and the Val d'Orcia, an itinerary rich in farmhouses, hamlets and castles, but also a dive into the taste of the White Truffles of San Giovanni d'Asso. In the small Hamlet was inaugurated, the 13th November, 2004, the first Italian museum of truffles. The setting for this operation is the underground cellars of the 13th century Castle of San Giovanni

Itinerary the Crete Sienese: Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Buonconvento
Abbey of Mount Oliveto Maggiore, founded in 1313 by Giovanni Tolomei and constructed almost entirely in 'terracotta'. Inside the abbey is divided in three cloisters, that conserve important pictorial works from the 1400's and 1500's and a large library that a collection of more than forty thousand ancient volumes. Not to be forgotten beside the church is its precious Renaissance wooden choir stalls by Frà Giovanni da Verona.

Sant'Anna in Camprena: : cycle of frescos by Sodoma.
Massain Palace: rose at the same time as the ancient castle of Bibbiano Cacciaconti and is a classical example of a country villa.
Abbey of St. Antimo: built with travertine stone from the Castelnuovo dell' Abate quarries. It is said that Charlemagne founded the abbey on his return from Rome, in 781.
Parish Church of S. Vito and Modesto at Corsignano, Romanesque Church, with a massive circular tower.
Itinerary of the Fortresses: Radicofani Fortress, Tintinnano Fortress, La Foce and Castelluccio and the Montalcino Fortress.

The fortress of Tintinnano where St. Catherine of Siena stayed as a messenger of faith and peace during the summer and autumn of 1377.
La Foce is a vast estate that was purchased by the Marquis Antonio Origo and his Anglo-American wife, Iris in1923.
Now it is the seat of an Italian garden and the location for a summer festival for chamber music
The Fortress of Montalcino is an imposing example of military architecture, with its irregular pentagonal shape.
