"The association Strada del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano" was born on 8 april 1998 with the scope to value and guardian the entire image of the territory of Montepulciano, territory of high wine-producing vocation, but also rich, for its ancient history, of traditions of great cultural importance.

The Strada del Vino introduces the offer of the territory and its culture, its typical productive traditions, its naturalistic, cultural and historical attractions; this combination offers a vivid example of oeno-gastronomic tourism, meant as a way with which everyone can enrich the own culture.

The Strada del Vino di Montepulciano allows to discover churches, monuments, villages, touristic and thermal structures of high quality.

The "Strada del Vino di Montepulciano" and its information center is in the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, already declared as a immovable of historical and architectonic interest, situated in the magnificent frame of Piazza Grande (The Communal Palace, the Dome and some Rinascimental palaces appears in Piazza Grande).

The Information Center is of easy access, it represents the fundamental fulcrum of the Strada del Vino, it addresses and discloses the informations relative to the oeno-turistic itineraries of the territory of Montepulciano.
